Running away from the universal male dress code of a shirt with a collar and cuff, we started Upasana’s Men’s line with the idea of doing away with these facets of their wardrobe. We looked at indigenous Indian designs and were very inspired by the practical yet aesthetically pleasing traditional designs – Mundu from Kerela, the Dhoti, Choinis and its modern version the Jodhpur trousers, they have all been redesigned for the modern male who can wear it with style and ease and still be very comfortable in it.
