- Money! – Yes, believe it, you are not going to be rich by joining Upasana, this place is for those who have transcended money as the primary focus.
- Drugs, alcohol, smoking, pubs, nightlife, clubs etc are not part of our culture so please don’t expect all that.
- Corporate or industrial atmosphere – we are more like a bunch of dreamers and idealists in a forest.
- Auroville, of which Upasana is a part, is not a religious centre or an ashram.
