Our campus

The campus has been in a state of constant growth since its inception - to create a space for open interaction, for practicing our philosophy of design and of life and to be an ideal area for creativity. The landscape is infused with the Auroville sensibility of architecture, with wide windows, wastewater recycling plant, etc. The work and production areas have been designed to resemble an open happy surrounding instead of the confines of solid walled rooms. A common tree-roofed area for lunch, socializing or impromptu meetings and water bodies sprinkled with lilies add to the atmosphere of jollity.

As a culmination of our efforts of our past years, we have now on the campus a “Textile Archive” an area where handcrafted textiles from different parts of India are on display. One can use this room filled with vibrant fabrics for browsing, for inspiration or just to marvel at the ingenuity of the craftsmen.

We also have an R&D lab for exploration and experimentation of new concepts in design with a graphic section and an adjoining library. This is the area where it all happens - discussions, brainstorming or just quiet research. The elaborate design centre outsizes the production area, but then again, we believe in the importance of creating the right ambience for the creativity of people to come forth in all its splendor.
