Our Journey of Conscious, Collective, and Creative Culture

Upasana’s Conscious Collective Circle is a monthly gathering, a living laboratory of design, dialogue, and discovery.

It is a space for gathering, reflection, and playful learning at Upasana. Each workshop invites participants to pause, explore, and create gently weaving together silence, dialogue, and hands-on practice.

Held on select Saturdays at the Upasana campus in Auroville, this space invites Aurovillians, dreamers, designers, artisans, and all of Upasana to come together around a shared intention: to reimagine clothing as a conscious, collective, and creative culture.

More than just an event, it is an invitation to slow down, reflect, and co-create. Through design marathons, storytelling, hands-on craft experiences, and open dialogues, participants engage with the deeper layers of fashion its impact, its potential, and its soul.

What We Offer

• A monthly gathering at the Upasana campus in Auroville, a living laboratory of design, dialogue, and discovery
• A full-day immersive experience weaving concentration, creative exploration, and collective dialogue
• Design Marathons / Sketching Circles: creative brainstorming of new garments, accessories, or conscious fashion solutions, working solo or in small groups guided by Upasana facilitators
• Material Playground: hands-on exploration with organic cotton scraps, handloom fabrics, natural dyes, threads, and trims to learn sustainable textile practices through play and experimentation
• Make & Take Session
• A nurturing environment that integrates head, heart, and hand in the spirit of Auroville and Upasana’s philosophy of design as the Sacred Thread between Self and Society.
